UNDERSTANDING YOUR PRIVILEGE
When we believe the world owes us something, every slight becomes a wound. We stop noticing the silent struggles of the person beside us, too busy nursing our own imagined injuries. Entitlement turns connection into competition, making kindness feel like a transaction rather than a gift. Only when we let go of this illusion do we remember that everyone is improvising, just trying to make sense of things, stumbling forward together, flawed and uncertain.
